Amanda was born and raised in Charleston and has been doing hair for the past nineteen years. She joined the Shoppe in February of ‘23. Two things we know she’s good at is cutting hair and working on cars.

Emma is from New Jersey and has been cutting hair for seven years. She joined the Shoppe in November of ‘25. Her goal is to make sure each cut is tailored to your lifestyle and vibe. When she is not cutting hair, you can find her spending time with her pets and family.

DENISE (James Island Location)
Denise is from California and has been doing hair for twenty years. She has been at the Shoppe since July of ‘23. Her favorite thing to do is walk on the beach with her husband and dog.
KELSEY PIC
KELSEY (West Ashley Location)
Kelsey has been licensed and in this industry for 15 years. She opened the Local Shoppe in September of ‘22. She finds herself lucky to have the crew she does and takes pride in being around bad ass women that can support one another. Despite her RBF she’s actually a warm person just trying to avoid small talk. Don’t ask if she’s alright and definitely don’t ask about her tattoos.

Cali was born and raised in Charleston and has been at the Shoppe since February of ‘25. She brings a mix of sarcasm, wit, and a whole lot of personality to the chair. When she’s not at the Shoppe you can find her spending quality time with her Fiancé and kids.

Ellery was born and raised in Charleston and has been at the Shoppe since January ‘24. She will surely make you laugh while giving you a great fade. When she isn’t at the Shoppe you can find her dancing and slapping shoppe stickers around town.

Anna was born and raised in Pittsburgh and moved down to Charleston to experience all it has to offer. She has been at the Shoppe since September of ‘25. When she’s not cutting hair, she loves spending time at the beach, getting tattoos, and hanging out with her pups.

Kimri has been behind the chair for 17 years and has proudly called Charleston home for the past six. Specializing in men’s grooming, Kimri is known for clean fades, sharp details, and precision cuts that keep clients looking their best. Outside the shop, Kimri enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, and working on improving a golf game one swing at a time. Whether you’re looking for a fresh new style or maintaining your signature look, Kimri is dedicated to making sure every client leaves feeling confident, refreshed, and looking sharp.

LINDSEY
Lindsey (James Island Location)
Lindsey was born and raised in Charleston and has been cutting hair in the Charleston area for the past four years. Passionate about helping clients look and feel their best, Lindsey takes pride in delivering quality cuts and creating a welcoming experience for everyone who sits in the chair. Outside of the barbershop, Lindsey enjoys spending time with friends and family and making the most of everything the Lowcountry has to offer.
DAVIS
Davis (West Ashley Location)
Fresh out of cosmetology school and officially licensed, Davis is ready to have you in her chair. She is originally from Atlanta, but Charleston has been her home for five years. She graduated from College of Charleston with a degree in English, but was too awesome to be tied down in the corporate world. Cutting men’s hair is a creative outlet that doesn’t feel like work to her. Book with her and bring your sense of humor.

Ava’s been behind the chair for two years and has taken her scissors just about everywhere they’ll fit. Before The Local Shoppe she cut hair in a hostel in South Africa. She keeps things laid-back, the conversations are usually a little unhinged, and the cuts speak for themselves.

Off the clock, she’s either at the beach with her dog looking for seashells or at the club handing out business cards. If you end up in her chair, expect a solid cut and a story or two.
